Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman, an American gymnast is a former member of both the Fierce Five 2012 as well as the Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic Gymnastics teams. In 2012 her year, she received gold at the team events as well as the floor exercises. On the balance beam, Raisman was awarded the bronze medal. She was the first Olympic gymnast with the highest number of medals. In the 2016 Olympics she took home an Olympic gold medal in the team event that brought her along with teammate Gabby Douglas the credit of been the first Americans to earn back-to-back team golds. The silver medals she won came from the floor individual and all-around event. After the 2 Olympics she took an absence from gymnastics competition for three years. Furthermore she was a part of two gold medal-winning American team in gymnastics. When she was just 2, she began to learn gymnastics. Her favourite event is floor exercises. Aly supports her favorite charity, the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization to commemorate her grandmother who was diagnosed with cancer and passed away. She wants to have a successful career in fashion. The leotards she wears as a signature, socks and other items will be expanded in the near future. The book she is working on is titled Fierce to be published later this year.
