Julianne Moore

Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moore has been an Hollywood actor and author for several years. Also, she is lauded by reviewers. Sagittarius is her birth name, and she was born at the state of North Carolina on 3 December 1960. She is one of the three youngest children of Peter Moore Smith and Anne Smith. Peter was a paratrooper. She has English as well as Scottish heritage. Moore struggled due to the fact that her family was always shifting due to her father's job. Moore's family moved to Germany and she went to Frankfurt American High School, where her first acting opportunities were on stage in productions. When she completed the requirements for her B.F.A. at Boston University in 1983, Moore continued to pursue further education. She graduated in 1983 with the degree of B.F.A. Moore started her acting career off-Broadway and in New York, after she had graduated. In an episode of The Edge of Night in 1985, she made her debut appearance on screen. She played the dual role as Sabrina Hughes and Frannie Hughes in the show As the World Turns that was her first major role. In 1988 she played an actress on the show, and won a Daytime Emmy Award. The year 1990 saw her debut movie appearance was Tales from the Darkside: The Movie. The film she later called a bad low-budget production. Short Cuts was produced by Robert Altman in 1993 and 3 Women was released in 1997. The latter was critically acclaimed and earned her a number of nominations for the film. Moore's debut lead role was in Safe (1995). In 1997, her career as an actress took a turn after Steven Spielberg cast her to play the lead role in Jurassic Park: The Lost World that became one of 1997's highest-grossing movies. In 1999, she was a part of the critically-acclaimed Magnolia and was awarded a SAG award for her role. The Hours, a 2002 film she costarred in with Nicole Kidman and Meryl Strreep received nominations for nine Academy Awards. More movies Moore starred in include The Forgotten (2004) Freedomland (2006) Shelter (2010) etc. She appeared in Non-Stop (2014). Moore has appeared in numerous television and film series. The most recent role she has played was in the film When You Finish Saving the World (2022). In Hollywood She has also become a published author for kids. Her first book Freckleface Strawberry was published in 2007, and it became one of the bestsellers on NY Times. The bestseller was later made into a movie, series, and even a musical. Her 2013 book, My Mom is a Foreigner, was also a bestseller. Moore, as a very popular author and performer, has made her personal life public. Moore was married to John Robin back in 1984, and the couple divorced in 1996. Bart Freundlich and Moore had two children. Moore's life revolves around her colleagues, friends and family.
